DE Rousseau signs 4-year extension with Bills
The Bills continued a trend of agreeing to extensions with their own draft picks, signing defensive end Greg Rousseau to a four-year extension.

This thread was my mea culpa.Interesting thread in retrospect.
Some of the criticisms of his pure 1-on-1 pass rushing were valid, but the scouts ignored the obvious- this was a young, athletic giant who played hard, worked hard, and produced. Don’t overthink it.
Since my post quoting Zierlein on Brevin's perceived weaknesses seem to meet with some interest here, thought I'd throw up Lance's comments on Rousseau. Obviously, there are many strengths that Greg posseses as shown by his projection to go to SF at #12 in the 1st round. Still, these are things he might've worked on here that would've put him in an even stronger draft position.
"Weaknesses
- Only one full season of college ball under his belt.
- High percentage of rush production came at nose instead of edge.
- Must add mass and strength to both upper and lower half.
- Not overly...

The hate and nitpicking on Roussseu by our own fanbase was embarrassing leading up to the draft. Glad he proved all of them wrong. He didn't have a great pro day in terms of 40/3cone/Broad jump, which caused NFL GMs to overthink things and why he lasted until pick 30. Then you had a bunch of people on this board who were so butthurt that he sat out a year, they threw tantrums questioning GR's dedication, mental/emotional acuity and that no way he'd be drafted in the first round.
When you have a guy with that size, length and production (hits pause button so hard it goes through the remote) you take him. I'm happy for GR15, he's done nothing but bust his *** and produce in the league, and has earned that money.
