This guy isn't going transfer so that he can ride shotgun on the bench behind Duke. That should end any conversation on him transfering here.

It amazes me that these kids all pass on Miami on signing day and then the next year they want to transfer in. Had your shot and passed it up.

Even if he transfers, he would have to sit out a year. We still end up short a back for 2013.

couldnt he use a redshirt year to avoid sitting out or no?

He would use his redshirt year while sitting out, it wouldn't get him out of having to sit out a year. So basically if he did transfer here, he would come in as a true sophomore. The year he sits out would be his redshirt year, so he would be able to play for us as a redshirt-sophomore. Make sense?

Im not sure if he used his redshirt at Iowa or not, but he would still have to sit out even if he used it here. Its mandated unless you are a grad student or you are moving within 100 miles of your home town.

ok, so u can use the redshirt to save u a year of eligibility but u still have to sit out a year. thanks for clearing that up for me, i was always a little confused about how that works
