Green Uniforms

2.) He wants to move back toward our heritage and rise, which until Nike took over did not include green as anything more than an accent color

Those are my best guesses. Also, almost every ****ty game I can remember included those green jerseys, starting with the Disaster in the Desert.

Same reason i hate those uniforms. I used to like them back when santana and reggie first started playing in them back in 99....thought it was cool we had an alternate jersey. But ever since that f'n game in the desert i hated those uniforms...all bad memories....plus we wore them when tech rushed for like 1000 yrds on us that game in 08......f those green jerseys

I was at that game in the endzone. When I close my eyes, I can still see those gaping holes open up on ever snap.

Game was a nightmare..and freezing cold.

I like the green jerseys as an alternate. Too bad we dont use them anymore. But wish we only used them once or twice a year, not 50/50 like it seems we may have done in the past. Orange over white is obviously our standard look. Also, I like doing stormtroopers, all orange, and wish we did an all green (would be badass). But wish we only did this once a year. I think we are doing these alternate combos too often. We've done all orange what, 3 times in our past 4 or 5 home games? And stormtroopers probably 3 times the past year? Could be wrong on the exact numbers...just seems like we are doing them a lot.

IIRC Golden said they were retired, as mentioned, spoke about getting back to our roots, I happen to like our original combos, whit top/ orange bottom and reversed for home games. Not a fan of the carrots or the pickles.

I think it would be cool to see all black uniform/helmet one game have orange white and green apread out throughout the whole thing still but I think that would look pretty legit

Black is played out, I hope Miami never gives in to that. Every school I see roll out a black uniform gets their **** kicked, kinda defeats the purpose.

I absolutely hate when teams incorporate black when it's not their color. Black doesn't look great with most colors.

I don't like the orange on orange, either. Stick with orange on white at home and white with either white/orange/green pants on the road.

I didn't like it when the hoops team did. The green hoops jerseys looked so much better. Just wished they had a bit more orange.
