2026 Grant Wise - OL

@DMoney with the first listing of key recruits in the 26 recruiting cycle in the 1/31 Bank.

- The staff loves the offensive line class and is aiming to sign the top class in the country. Some names to know include Grant Wise (Milton, FL, son of former Cane Ty Wise), Keenyi Pepe (IMG), Breck Kolojay (IMG) and Canon Pickett (Tampa). ​

Thread 'The Bank (1/31)'

The 2026 recruiting season is in full bloom, and that means The Bank is back. Here is the latest on our board:

- Miami will continue its aggressive pursuit of CB J'Vari Flowers (Northwestern) after his reclassification to the Class of '25. His speed is elite at corner and he's an instant-impact returner. The timing of his reclassification is not ideal, as Miami just invested heavily in overhauling its secondary with transfers. But they recognize Flowers's unique talent and want him to be a Hurricane. This battle is just beginning.

He’s probably going to get a 5 or 10% bump for AP.
I know you were just kidding but I love the fact that he took AP Calculus as I know you do.

I will also take it as a hopeful sign that he is taking Spanish I as a senior because he knows he's going to live in Miami for 4 years.

I don't think they will pass on Miret. Showing him way too much attention the last 6 months or so. Seems to be right there with Wise as center/guard prospects on staff's pecking order. I think there is a chance we bring in 6 this year.

Then 3 (or yeah at least 2, but 5 minimum) of

Cantwell (T), Tucker (T), Jared Smith (G) , Kolojay (G), Carr (G), Congdon (T), Pickett (G) , M.Smith (G-T) , J.Jones (T), Luckas (G-T)…And I'm sure they will shoot their shot at a couple of other big time tackle prospects (The kid from Maryland for instance), at least here in the spring til they find out whether it's worth recruiiting them til the biter end.

So this year we’ll take highly ranked OL? I know all HS OL are projects but it really seems like these last 2 years we took some guys who have the frame but are true projects.

I mean we are losing Francis ((I'm assuming he will leave for the draft) and Anez after this year so definitely need to restock the right side of the line.
