Most on CIS was acting like this was a layup and had penciled him into this class. Was hearing rumblings that he was slurping the $EC Kool Aid and to a lesser extent Clemson , but he ended up with an ACC school so that is somewhat surprising to me (was thinking he was Bama bound with the Vols running a close second)

Dabo doesn't permit visits (or at least he didn't use to) so it will be interesting to see if he cancels his OV.

Clemson is a very SECish school insofar as campus and football culture is concerned. More so than any other ACC school, including fsu and what their delusional fans seem to think.

Wise was definitely a high priority. I think he just feels more comfortable in a Southern environment as a Panhandle kid.

His dad stayed out of the process and let him make his own decision.

Tough loss but Miret is a good local option and SJ will be a long-term guy.
