Then why aren’t they playing at the FBS level? Idk if you’ve noticed but FBS and FCS are two different birds. Last two guys Miami took at the FCS were Tommy Kennedy and Dee Delaney. People on here were probably o linemen than Kennedy and Delaney was overhyped.
There is a ton of talent in the FCS that goes to play in the NFL and transfers to play power 5 ball.

Yup! Just like the North Dakota State LB that went to LSU! Oh wait...

ND State is basically an FBS team
But they’re not and plenty of FCS players could be FBS players for whatever reason they didn’t. This particular dude you’re criticizing is actually getting NFL attention and he’s trying to leverage it but you judged him instead of doing research.

I didn’t criticize him but ok. The last two FCS guys didn’t pan out at their one year here so yea I’m a little weary going after another FCS guy.

I've seen Gibbens play twice in person actually. Definitely don't think he'd be worse than some of what we see out there right now for the Canes. Add to that, Gibbens will have never played behind a defensive line this talented in his career. I think he'd be good with a full offseason to acclimate, but I also think Miami has other more pressing needs on the grad transfer market.

We have Miami type LBs on the roster but Baker would rather send McCloud out there to make mistakes instead of the young ones who can learn from them.
if we do your standards are pretty low.....please tell us who these Miami type LBs are

If we had an extra scholie for a LB, would you give it to this kid or T2 or Hood?

Absolutely no research lol. All he had to do is look at who won DROY in 2018 (A fcs LB) and shut up.

Hey buddy, I didn’t criticize this guy at all. All I mentioned was the two FCS guys Miami brought in the last couple of years and they weren’t anything special. Again, I’m weary bringing in FCS guys.

Darius leonard was an fcs linebacker and has been one of the best defenders in the NFL for the colts hes performed just as good or better than the linebackers in his draft class some of these guys fly under the radar
