Thompson has some serious skill some people are over-looking.

I do not doubt that kid could win the starting job here in time.

Why the **** would you ask an extremely talented passer to punt?

Thompson is rehabbing and still on his baseball scholarship. Why anybody is even mentioning his name is beyond strange. Also, I don't care how good Thompson is, if he doesn't get in the playbook and get some reps then his time at QB is over before it's even begun.

Thompson is on a football scholarship, He was recruited by the football coaches so he counts toward football for at least his first year. If he gives up football then he can go on a baseball scholarship after his first year is over.

I wasn't aware of that. Thought when he had his surgery I had read where he would be on baseball scholarship until further notice because of his medical RS?

Not sure, but I know the 57 yarder is off the ground. Kid is the goods. One of the top kickers in the nation out of that class. Miami is good to go for the next 3 years.
