Good Sign on Ticket Sales

Why is everyone so negative? Yea, the atmosphere won't be like SEC games, but at least it's a step in the right direction. A great stadium atmosphere is something Miami will never have at Sunlife, but outside of finding somewhere else to play, it seems like the staff and administration are doing what they can to increase attendance.

Put an exciting winning product on the field, and they will come.

I'm thinking of buyings some season tickets 2 or 3 to help with numbers. IF you live down there and just want to attend games but don't have the bread I'm thinking about it. Tired of hearing attendance jokes from opposing teams fans.

We hear the same **** every year about record ticket sales. Then, the "crowds" look like Winger playing the State Fair in Muskegon, Michigan.

No - the problem is there are High Schools in Texas that draw more than Miami does for an avg game

Why do people post stupid **** like this?
The largest crowd for a Texas high school game was 54k, for a state championship game last year in Cowboys Stadium.

I have two season tickets and I get two for coaching I make sure I'm there every home game with 3 other cane fans.

I live in NC so I haven't been following the upgrades to the stadium, when is that supposed to be finished? I'm guessing once that's complete it will change the look and atmosphere on gameday.

I got two season tickets.

Gonna take girls to the games! have a Craigslist "Win a date to a Canes Game with Smokey, for FREE" ad.

(juts kidding. I tried that last year and got a bunch of **** site replys, and two dudes. I have a REAL girl to take this year!)

If we are 2-2 going into a noon Duke kickoff, then you will see how great ticket sales have been.

The crowd will suck no matter what our record is because people in Miami attend social events, not athletic contests. If it's not a night game against a ranked opponent where they can be seen and Tweet about what big fans they are, they don't go.

Lies. Look at our attendance figures in 2001.

LOL, really... You think winning doesn't put butts in the seats. [TABLE="width: 502"]

Lower bowl holds 45,000. Season tickets 31,000. Hmm, last time I checked my math, that does meet "almost full" category.... Plus I guarantee some of those 31,000 season tickets sold are in the upper deck....

The AD is so full of ****. They really expect us to believe the lower level is nearly sold out?

Can they not tarp off the upper level?

The A's did that for a long time. Just produces a better atmosphere (although obviously the tickets are more expensive) as the stands are full.

Try and spot the trend.

Congratulations on proving my point by posting 30+ years of lame crowds. Even with exciting, winning, championship teams, we show up with average crowds that are 20-30,000 shy of capacity. Quit acting as though people in South Florida are going to show up for anything other than marquee events.

I see you are challenged with numbers... Winning improves turn out. I think most can get that from the graph, well except you.
