The AD is so full of ****. They really expect us to believe the lower level is nearly sold out?

When you factor in the seats allocated for the visiting team and the student section it's not that far of a stretch.
It's been noted that Sun Life has one of the larger, if not the largest upper decks in football. Around 35k IIRC.
That would out the lower bowl at about 40k.

Season ticket holder and i for one really hope we have more attendance than last year. Got to show that the U has a solid fan base and as many people that complain we should have more numbers this season at least i hope so.

What's funny is there's some ****heads complaining about attendance but don't show up themselves then give you the "win and I'll show up bull****"

Do you go to the games? Because I do and the lower level is rarely full. I'll believe my eyes over anything the AD claims.

No disrespect to anyone but thats not what i consider supporting your team im out there win or lose because the U is my team more than any other team heat dolphins marlins its all about the U.

Lower bowl holds 45,000. Season tickets 31,000. Hmm, last time I checked my math, that does meet "almost full" category.... Plus I guarantee some of those 31,000 season tickets sold are in the upper deck....

Is the problem people not showing up or does the structure and amount of seats play into how empty it looks on TV? I've never been there so I dunno.

I think it's the structure. We averaged 53,800 people last year. In comparison, Oregon averaged 57,600 and it's a packed house because they have a small stadium. If our stadium held 60 instead of 75+ it wouldn't look so terrible on TV. What can you do *shrugs*

There's too much going on at Viscaya this year to go to Canes games. Miami has so much to do it's impossible to fit it all in over the weekend.

What the **** are you talking about?
Are we discussing last year? Try reading comprehension or just continue to act like an ******* and carry on.
Jesus Christ we have some stupid fcuking fans.

One of the problems is the tv cameras are on the home side so you always get shots of the side with fewer fans, the visitor side or north side.
