Oh snap... we have/had coyotes in our area and used to have a dog. One night I heard our dog yelp and I ran outside and scared off a coyote that had bit our dog a couple times. The coyote pack sends out a scout and tried to lure our dog back to their pack, but our dog was really playful and probably thought it wanted to play until he got bit. Took him to the vet the next day and had to get shots and stitches and eventually was all good. He was a westie that was only 20-25 lbs
