The reason to be happy for the ACC winning against good opponents is to give our conference relevance when it comes to the pollsters and national recognition. I doubt you'll find too many actual GT or Clemson fans on this board. You guys gotta think big picture for a minute.

This.

There's no need to go full ****** about conference pride like the SEC homers, but wanting the ACC to be viewed favorably makes sense.

We counting the BE teams that are coming to the Acc next year.. Like Syracuse , PITT, Louisville, ND?

exactly , we beat tow top programs in USC and LSU

this

ACC has not had a winning bowl record in 7 years if FSU beats N.Illinois we accomplish that....this also helps when its comes to TV money

Don't forget what the teams joining next year have done either. Syracuse beat WVU and Pitt still has Ole Miss to play and LVille v UiF.

Oh, and Rutgers lost (BWAHAHAHAHA)

If we count next year's ACC teams (that include LVille?), then ACC is sitting on 5-2 with 2 games left (and with our #3 and #4 teams sitting out)

That Clemson win over LSU ought to shut that SEC SEC SEC crap up for at least a little while. It rough living in SEC country smh.
