Gone are the days...

of settling for (with respect to the following guys) Daniel Adderly, Grey Crow, Andrew Tallman, Stephen Plein, Daniel Stegalls of the recruiting world. Some of you young guys won't know many of these names but let's just say that these are names that I'd imagine wouldn't even get a look by the current staff and it feels good. We deserve this fellas. For many of us who saw the good times and for those of you who have only known lean times just know that we deserve this.

Old man got to see the Canes and Dolphins during the good times, I’ve only had the suffering. Here’s to that ending 🍻

That’s great, but dude wasn’t a Miami caliber QB. That’s the point of this thread.
That’s fine….but I think we can exclude certain people from the list, like Gray, who have proved they bleed orange and green by continuing to rep the program hard, donating money, and staying involved.

I think there is a big difference between players who do the above and those who graduate and then we never hear from them again.

You picked rando 4th string TEs and a QB that every team has. And still got half the names wrong.

I’ve seen the mediocre, the great and then the bad. Most Cane fans today have no clue about where we were before Schnelly.

I was beginning to believe I’d never see the great again in my life time. Our run in the 80’s and 90’s was surreal for me at that time. I have the same feeling today.

First off, for the Grey Crow defenders..relax..99% of the people out there had no idea this guy was doing big things for the program behind the scenes. Kudos to him and cheers. Thats big stuff if he is setting up a 500k endowment. Sounds like he is doing well in life and even though he didnt do anything on the football field, he **** sure took advantage of that UM education to better himself in life. I love those types of stories too. (Like Andrew Bain who is a judge now in Orlando and doing big things)

Second, I mentioned this in another thread..but **** it feels good to FINALLY be entering the High Rollers Only section of the casino. They got Blue label and Don Julio 1942 over here, the waitresses are cuter, the food is way better, and we feel like we finally belong as we sit across the craps table and see Bama, UGA, and Ohio State and they are looking at us like, "****, why did they let UM in here?"...YEP! We are here now! Cheers!
