Im fine with golden rebuilding because i think its really going to pay off.

Cut the dead weight golden!

Gonna be a rough year with a lot of true freshman and sophomores seeing pt... but it'll pay dividends.

Can someone explain why we will only have 80 guys and not 85?

****... so he's gonna have to cut about 10 guys?!

Why go way past 85 unless he foresees transfers that might come here during the summer? If the kid isn't causing trouble why not keep them for extra bodies on the scout team at the least?

Just a thought... maybe he knows some sort of possible scholarship reductions (say 15 over 3 years for example) and figures if the kid isn't good enough to contribute why not just cut him play this yera with 80 scholarship athletes and then this year would already count as year 1 and we'd only have 2 years left.

Either way - it will be interesting to see who all transfers. Thats alot of people!

we should just self impose scholarship reductions by cutting all of Shannons players and roll with freshmen and sophmores

Preemptive scholarship cutting seems crazy to me.

Do you not think it's a certainty that we're going to see scholarship reductions? They're more certain, to me, than a bowl ban and yet we self-imposed that (which I think was a good move).

I want my full allotment of 85 guys god dammit. Until the ncaa drops the hammer we need to stop with the self-induced bull****.
