"Q: Is Olsen Pierre emerging?
Golden: He's starting to make a lot of progress. He's playing with a little more energy, confidence in his hand placement, transition to pass rushing. We've got a long way to go there with Olsen, but he's been better. That bye week helped him. We really need him to step up and go to the next level for us.
Q: Who else is stepping up?
Golden: Corey King. He's getting off blocks a little better, moving his feet. He just has to keep going. We're going to continue to work Earl Moore in there, Luther (Robinson), Curtis Porter is working with us now. Those are the guys - we've been working about six or seven guys in there.
Q: Dallas brings a different style.
Golden: He is a little different style, is shiftier, can stop and start. He is tough. Dallas is a tough competitor, has got moxie. I've been excited about what he's done the last four practices.
Q: How is he in pass protection?
Golden: Dallas is excellent in pass protection. He's smart and he's tough.
Q: Do you see a defensive mindset from Dallas, a former defensive player?
Golden: Dallas is unselfish. Sometimes we forget how young these guys are. Dallas has worked hard, got himself in great condition, has helped us out on special teams, is one of the leading tacklers on kickoff coverage. He's ready for it. He's shown me something the last four practices. He's ready to go."
Pierre, Robinson, King and Porter might just give us a resemblance/flashes of a decent DT rotation these last four games (Moore and Ivery too)
Excited to see what DC can do, maybe he can provide a spark to the running game.
