Miami's Al Golden now saying he doubts NCAA resolution will come before Aug. "I'm resigned that we'll go through a third camp with this."

Golden had said last week at ACC media days that he hoped for a decision before camp. Received word since then it was not likely.

- Says the game is starting to slow down for Stephen and runs a 4.6 40
- Stephen runs to create opportunities in the passing game and doesn't pre-determine whether he will pull it down to run/pass
- Says he doesn't believe in restricting but believes in educating on the usages of social media
- Believes in a stipend as opposed to a salary for college athletes
- Didn't have anyone on the all-conference team a year ago and had 3 of the first 4 games on the road, things are different this year

He's an awesome representative of a program. It's been said before, but he's got a ton of board room skills.

LOL at Cowherd says that Savannah State is ok

What a fuggin idiot

:rollcanes:

That made absolutely no sense. Al should have slapped 'em when he said it.

And he knows nothing of FAU except that Florida is close to the Atlantic.

Virginia is gonna be tough... yet their top two QBs are not there anymore (even though they've beaten us the last 3 years, I think we got them this year)

lol savannah st is the worst DIV 1 AA team in the country. We will have them 50-0 at the half.. FAU 31-0 at the half.. The schedule is the easiest we have had in 10 years. Also 9 games in the state of FL. That's why Vegas thinks we win 9 or 10 games..

We will blow UVA out this year

Vegas is assuming that we FINALLY start winning the games we are supposed to win again. Not lose to the UVAs and UNCs of the world. If we do that then that 9 is easy money.

I really think the NCAA is just confused on what to do here since they already tanked the investigation and hold ZERO credibility in the media/public.

IMO, I think there are some at the NCAA that want to move on and end this process without an appeal (i.e. minimal punishment, self imposed and little backlash). These few understand the NCAA needs to focus on rebuilding their credibility after this investigation and their current status in society. This rebuilding will be extremely difficult but this investigation presents a major hurdle especially after they handed down NOTHING to Oregon and the Law Suits (Ed O Bannon).

I also think there are some at the NCAA that believe that the investigation is salvageable and believe they can handout some type of additional serious punishment to show strength. The issue with this method is that Miami can appeal and bring a potential lawsuit and the process will still be ongoing without any resolution. If they hand out a severe punishment and it is appealed and dismissed, the NCAA will be further subjected to embarrassment and possibly past any type of revival.

I don't expect much of a punishment from the NCAA given what has happened (both self imposed penalties and the tanked investigation), my only issue is will this process still be ongoing through out the season i.e. recruiting. This will be the 3rd Straight Recruiting Class that has been tainted by the investigation (negative recruiting, scared recruits and other BS). The wait and lack of resolution is a severe punishment in itself.

Then again we could get news this week.

Any more punishment this year should not affect recruiting kids this year. There's no way the NCAA goes HAM with the threat of a lawsuit hanging out there. There won't be another bowl ban and I don't see them messing with being on TV. Worst case should be probation, maybe some scholarships.

Expected Golden to do an interview for Highly questionable, would think Lebatard would've asked for him considering he got bridgewater yesterday just so they could talk about growing up in Miami.
