For srs.
I talked to a friend of a friend who is on a staff here in south Florida. The majority of the big-time coaches that come to their school to see kids are apparently ********. Very smug, don't acknowledge anyone in the offices that they don't have to speak with, or on the school staff - they get in and get out.
Golden is revered by everyone from the receptionists to random teachers to office staff. He makes it a point to introduce himself to everyone he meets, and comes back around to say goodbye and thank them when he leaves. Remembers everyone's name. Very personable guy. Spent an extended amount of time with some of the staff just shooting the ****, apparently he is the first coach to do this at their school. Everyone says he is very down to earth and an amazing guy. Works the whole school like a politician and everyone he meets comes away impressed. It must be working because it's spread to me, so I imagine he is big at building up relationships with local programs.
Tl:dr - Our coach doesn't go to high schools and **** on the floors and pull fire alarms.
