It's hard not to like the guy after listening to him talk. He is truly a CEO. Gotta see legit on field results in 2014.

One of my best qualities is that I'm immune to charisma and sales pitches.

Show me the W's. Win the Coastal. Play defense. Prepare a team for a bowl game.

Time for RESULTS.

There was no sales pitch in that interview. His demeanor in fact struck me as determined. I think he is starting to feel the pressure which in turn makes competitors rise to the occasion. "The cream will always rise"

Time will tell. 2014 is a new year.

Already rumors of new uniforms.

i know someone who played for him at temple as i have said before and he loves him. Some of the recruits were gone if he was. Jacory said "I wish i had more time here" maybe he is a players coach. lets make it work.

I've criticized Golden a lot lately (mostly on the defensive scheme and his inability to make adjustement to personal) but I haven't heard of any players not liking him.

I'm a "Golden slurper" for the most part, but I cant listen to DBJr... That dude will give a positive spin to my dog eating his own ****, then throwing it up on my lap

Personality wise, there isn't anything I can see to not like him. He is getting criticism and rightfully so for our Defense and quiet time during this PSU circus.

He might be a CEO, but he's apparently terrible at everything a CEO has to do, like hiring and firing his most important employees.

In this day and age of Gators being arrested, Noles being accused of rape and coaches like Meyer lying to their team to go to another, the Hurricanes have one of the few coaches I would feel comfortable sending my son to play football for. Golden still has a lot to prove on the field, but there is no doubt that he cares about his players and helping them mature into men. Now he just needs to make the hard decisions and put a staff together that can coach this team into a national winner. I wouldn't be behind Golden if I didn't think he could do it.

Key word there is "apparently", I find it very hard to believe that he's going throw away his career on a bad coach. I'm not happy about some of his choices, but he just may be a little smarter than everyone thinks. As much as some of you refuse to accept it, we know nothing about what goes on behind the scenes, and that is the responsibility of a CEO.

A true CEO understands that the company and his team (employees that work for you) comes first in priorities before you do. With this PSU scandal and the fact he is not willing to get rid of his friend has shown the world that he is putting himself and his friend above the University. That is not a good CEO.

Are you saying that Al's defense is OK? Is D'Onofrio the problem, or is it the defense they are running?

How long before the "cloud" makes an appearance? How many times did he bring it up?

Also, what about "trending upward"?

That's cool and all but the only results that matter are those on the field, and our D has gotten ripped up by our conference foes worse and worse each yearh. So it's great that Golden knows what goes on behind the scenes but counts for nothing on game day when he regularly fields the worst D's in UM history.
