I’d have never sent him back out with a 6 run lead…sure he warmed up but so what.He warms up and only throws a couple pitches when he closes..what’s the difference…

Well…so much for a clean 5 outs. 18-22 pitches is an “poor” inning. His pitch total is now in a bad area. He will be juiced up tomorrow if it’s a big situation but no chance on Monday.

Need to come out tomorrow and play all three phases. Still pulling for a long 15-14 type game tonight that just drains both pens
