Statistically speaking...I bet Morris has the best year in our history at the QB position. Not sure how many games we win, all depends on how the defense comes along.

Fix the d-line somehow, and we will suprise a lot of people next year.

We're not surprising anyone. We'll be the preseason favorites to win the Coastal, and we may even be favored to win the ACC. Our over/under on wins will probably by 8.5-9. We'll have the preseason All ACC QB and a Heisman hopeful in our backfield.

With some juco dlinemen who can create a consistent pass rush (hooks and bond who i consider more of a DE) we could potentially have a top defense once again. Couple that with an improved offense/special teams from this past year, we could without a doubt win the coastal and possibly the ACC entierely as well as a BCS game. NCAA sanctions cant come soon enough, their process is becoming outright ridiculous and needs to end asap.

Miami will be fine on defense next year. It will finally be year two in the new system for the majority of the players. The LB'ing rotation should be the best we've seen in a looong time. The secondary is starting to get after it. Jenkins and Bush should be a nice tandem at Safety. Bush was laying the wood and Jenkins can flat out fly. Highsmith and Rogers will be serviceable as a second string. Adding Carter and possibly Burns will allow them come along slowly unless either of them are just to good to keep off the field.

As for the D-line, if Porter stays healthy he and Pierre will be a great 1st string unit. I also expect the other guys to push them this offseason. Chick and Green will be a year older. McCord will be bigger, stronger, and faster. They are only going to get better. I also have seen something out of our D-line I haven't seen in forever. They may not have been getting to QB like we wanted but they were getting their hands up to bat balls down.

I think the defense is going to be nasty next season and the offense will be able to score on anybody.

Well, look at it this way. Barring catastrophe, we have no where to go but up on defense. If Porter stays, and with another 8 months in the weight room with our young guys, we should make huge strides defensively. Moreover, the team will have a much better grasp of our defensive scheme. On top of that, I challenge anyone to show me a team next year that has more potential on offense than we do. I mean, I can actually say with a straight face that UM may have the most potent offense in the country next year. Think about that. After all these years of sh*t, we are on the verge of having one the most exciting teams in college football. I couldn't be happier...but that's because I have reasonable expectations.

The most important thing I take from that story is from the comment section:
