Golden can learn something from Coach L

So, we want Al's defense to play more zone?

No, just not 3-4 lb's on the field against spread formations , maybe putting 5-6 db 's on the field.
I hear it's a new invention called nickel and dime . Pretty neat concept .

Agreed!

AG calls himself keeping his best players on the field, but it's complete stupidity if your best players are being outrun. Shayon is gone now, but despite superior athleticism, I just don't see Kirby chasing down slot receivers or how AQM or Tyriq dropping back into a zone would maximizes their presence on the field.

Al can talk all the BS he wants about the cupboard being empty when he got here and how he had the "black cloud" over his head, blah blah. But Coach L WITH THE SAME RESTRICTIONS found a way to win in his SECOND year here. He didnt make excuses about the talent that was left to him and how they were not up to par. He used what he had and worked with it.

You dont think Al is embarrassed by what Coach L has been able to do with a non basketball power? If he isnt he is DEF not the coach for us.

They never heard of the concept "matchups". U notice teams dont complete a lot of passes on the outside. Its in the middle of the field where we have LBs covering fast guys. Or slow *** safety like Highsmith.

Seriously, how much worse could we be if Dorito just put 5 guys in on D and had them work the passing lanes?
