Golden and Sid

Not only has Cristobal burned his bridges at UM, he's burned his bridges in the community. I used to see him around all the time in the CG area. I'll be sure to loudly mention what a traitorous ***** he is next time I see him.

Golden recap

Ray Lewis III will probably start at CB.

P4R, I take that to mean that RL3 will start his UM career as attempting to be a CB, as opposed to him saying RL3 is a starting CB for UM... in case anyone interpretted it that way.

I disagree. In fact, I think that whenever Golden bolts, Mario will be getting a call.

I've always thougth he'd be on the short list following Golden, but not after this slap in the face. I'd be shocked if UM considered him for any future position, much less head coach.

I guess he was paid a lot more money to go to Alabama. He will be under heavy pressure from Saban to produce some recruits from South Florida.

He will probably target 2-3 high-end, elite lever kids each year. I'm guessing Sony, Lane, and probably Clark this year...

The mods need to utilize a feature that will automatically change the word Mario or Cristobal or both into Fredo if used in a post.

Cristobal can eat a ****. If he had stayed her for at least one whole season and left, it would still suck, but would be forgivable. A month though? **** that. He was all at that signing day party with nicknames for the recruits and ****. Then he just turns around and bolts to a school that not only wants all our best recruits, but an SEC school that stands to benefit from our NCAA predicament if you know what I'm getting at.

The point is moot though IMO. I think Mario thought when he came here that he could be next in line or whatever when Golden decides to go pro or move on. He soon found out that Golden has no plans of going anywhere. At least that's what I hope but it makes sense.

You underestimate the power of public opinion in hiring college coaches. The only way he gets back is if he waits 20 years and people have forgotten.

BTW, anyone knows what his wife/family's business is? Boycott anyone?

Cristobal burned the bridges to Miami, he won't be coming back. By the way it was the FIU President and Board who wanted him fired, he's difficult to work with as Al Golden now knows.

Don't know if this is old news, but Golden listed Corn Elder as a WR.

I thought he was a RB?
