You are talking to a board full of people who root against the team lol
You are talking to a board full of people who root against the team lol
Was way more than just 1. The O line will be & always has been the foundational piece. We definitely need a QB…I hope canes fans who just few days ago swore by Emory see we need to get EwersYou goofs are literally agreeing with me. Our offense was more than just Cam.
The whole defense needs a big overhaul. The DL failed to get consistent pressure, we haven't had a run-stopper at DT in what seems like forever, the LBers are slow and can't tackle, and the secondary, well there isn't enough time to address that group (other than OJ)Miami’s offense is ranked #1 and still we won and lost many games by a margin of 1-5 points, almost every single team we played looked like they were the 2 best Offense on the country.
The whole secondary and coaching staff needs a big overhaul.
You can’t argue with stupid. Don’t fall for the trap.
The evidence was right there in the second half, he’ll just argue it’s a fact Cam was 5-7 without alluding to a considerably worse OL, WRs and RBs at Wazzu…
He has Mario’s gooch so far down his throat he can still taste last Sunday’s **** particles
His defense is an embarrassment, yes, definitely.
But people keep thinking that Cam was a gift from the Gods and we were just the very lucky recipients.
Cam came here because he saw a very good OL, one that would give him 3-5 seconds to throw. At WSU, he ran for his life.
So Mario's renovation of our traditionally porous offensive -- no easy task -- needs to be recognized.
Let's stop with all this "Without Cam we'd be 7-5" nonsense.
It’s possible for Mario to deserve credit for bringing in Cam and assembling this offense and taking the blame for the horrendous defense we fielded this year.
The ifs, and or buts regarding this team without Cam make no sense to me. He was here.
No. It’s analogous to a dog bringing you a drink, then dropping a deuce on your carpet. The moral of the story: It’s 2024, why do you have carpet? This is analogous to me thanking the dog for dropping a deuce on my new carpet instead of in my drink.
Thanks, no thanks.
He’s available for dialogue in purgatory right nowWas way more than just 1. The O line will be & always has been the foundational piece. We definitely need a QB…I hope canes fans who just few days ago swore by Emory see we need to get Ewers
moving the goal postYes Mario deserves credit for landing ward. That being said there’s zero chance we get ward if this was the pre NIL era and he didn’t make 7 figures by coming here.
lol ruthless maudes..where is the holiday spirit fellasHe’s available for dialogue in purgatory right now
No defense in both situationsWard also went 10-3 his last season at Incarnate Ward. Coincidence?
Lost the Heisman, should have won 12 games but failed, couldn’t take his team to the ACC final or playoffs, only played 1/2 a bowl game for his personal record and could care less if the team won.cam ward was a heisman finalist, davey obrien winner, 1st team consensus, won 10 games and became a consensus top 5 ... the vision was executed
We loved Guidry when the O was turning the ball over & the D kept us in some ball games just a year ago..I think folks owe James Williams, Kam, Davis, couch some apologies. They weren’t even close to being replaced in play.He gets credit for building the offense, letting Dawson do his thing and getting cam.
He gets the blame for Guidry.
well looking at kam in NFL, maybe guidry was the problem with him.We loved Guidry when the O was turning the ball over & the D kept us in some ball games just a year ago..I think folks owe James Williams, Kam, Davis, couch some apologies. They weren’t even close to being replaced in play.
Regardless of who to blame, can’t go into next szn with this hanging over.
there are different vantage points ... what i will say is on his side of the ball he led the best unit in the COUNTRY ... any decent recruiter knows how to marry individual goals with team goals ... we fell short but we hit milestones that we hadn't done in almost a decade ... cam ward was a success hereLost the Heisman, should have won 12 games but failed, couldn’t take his team to the ACC final or playoffs, only played 1/2 a bowl game for his personal record and could care less if the team won.
I didn't say Cam wasn't a difference maker, just that Mario deserves credit for acquiring him. How can you disagree with that?if Cam was not part of this team, The U would have been 5-7. Cam is a God, who will be drafted in the 1st 5 picks! There has not been a QB drafted that high in decades!
Yes, Cristomoron has a great OL, but the D was horrible, which Cristomoron selected and selected the coach!
If you do not believe that Cam was the difference maker, wait until next year when we actually go 6-6 and get embarrassed by ND, UF….
another problem with guidry is the atmosphere is too toxic. We loved Guidry when the O was turning the ball over & the D kept us in some ball games just a year ago..I think folks owe James Williams, Kam, Davis, couch some apologies. They weren’t even close to being replaced in play.
Regardless of who to blame, can’t go into next szn with this hanging over.
Mario does deserve credit for being relentless and getting Cam to come here. No question. By all accounts, he seems to do a really good job showing a transfer how they will be used and selling them on opportunity and usage.I didn't say Cam wasn't a difference maker, just that Mario deserves credit for acquiring him. How can you disagree with that?
