70-68. Great first season, the second one matters starts now.
This team is capable of beating anyone, and this one they just let get away.
4 seed in the tournament. Won’t play til Friday, iirc.
Couldn’t find the bucket late, with plenty of open opportunities. The four straight missed FTs is literally the difference in the game too.Probably win today if Mompremier didnt miss so many chippys. Only 6-16 from the field.
I could not watch the game but followed the score through out the second half. This was a game it seems where it would have been nice for Cornelious to be a differencemaker. Shooting wise she has only had a big game once in recent games. Gray had a great game against GT. Canedude is too soft on Cornelious did not even mention her name in his critique. She needs to understand that she has to be a scorer going forward. When Hof has a great game it's just wasted if the gaurds do not step up as well.
Maybe you should WATCH THE **** GAME before flapping your gums. Laura did a **** good job of managing the offense, and making sure that Beatrice and Emese got plenty of touches. It isn't an accident that whenever Laura leaves the game, Miami's offense bogs down, because Gray and Banks are combo guards that look for their shot first, instead of working with the bigs. Laura gave Miami 13 points on 5/11 shooting, which included 3/6 from deep. If you are expecting LC to be some crazy scorer night in and night out, you are sorely mistaken. Her job is to make sure the bigs get touches, and when doubles come, to make teams pay by hitting jumpers. She was far from the problem today, it was people like Mykea Gray and E. Banks that were. Those two combined to score 4 points on 2/13 shooting. Yes, Gray had a big night against GT, but she isn't consistent in the least. She is a defensive liability at times due to her gambling style. She doesn't run the offense worth a ****, it's frustrating to watch the bigs beg for the ball, while Gray lives out her Russell Westbrook fantasies.
Laura averages 10 PPG. So, in other words she gave you above average production today. Mykea averages 13. She was NINE points below her season average. That's the problem. It's amazing how fans who couldn't even be bothered to watch the game want to come and blame players that did their job. Might as well say "Had Emese scored 45 today, Miami would have won". That's how ignorant you sound when you blame the ONE guard in the starting lineup that was productive.
