Man is he active. He is all over the field. He got the start again and led the team in tackles. He really has a nose for the ball. Currently our LB core should be

Perryman
Paul
E Johnson.

I would move Paul to MLB and slide Perryman back over to the weakside

Paul makes the sure tackles, but can't stop anything with a pulse in the open field. He was juked by the ND QB at least twice last night and run over by the NCSU RB last week. The announcers basically made fun of him last night. His jock was left on the field.

What game were you watching? The guy was a step slow all night and was responsible for big plays against him. It's only a matter of time that Kirby takes his spot...

A running fleet footed QB won the one on one match up against a MLB in the open field... surprising.

How was he a step slow if he has led the team in tackles for two weeks in a row. He starts two weeks in a row and led the team each time. Against Notre Dame he lead the team with 11 tackles. If he is a step slow than the rest of the team must be moving in molasses.

Yeah, IM sorry, but the thing I remember the most about Paul was he's always around the ball, but usually after the tackle is made. He's slow to react, and slow in making the play.

Shayon Green led the team in tackles for most of the season, but I'd hardly say he's one of our best defenders.

Was this really even a question?

Cityboy, this is just a straight up bad OP. Paul ain't close to being our best linebacker.

If I hadn't gotten ****ed and erased the recording, I'd bite the bullet and go back and watch the game to see his eleven tackles. I remember thinking that we needed to get him out of the game.

If he is slow to react than how is he leading the team in tackles the last two games that he has been back from injury? People tend to look at the "Hype" and not the actual production on the field. We crown players who come in with hype but not reward the players who actually show production.

So how is he slow to react if he is the one making the tackles. What are the other players doing?

Shayon Green is playing outstanding. I see what the coaches praise him a lot. we need a pass rusher to replace him on 3rd downs tho
