Gilbert's lack of playing time is an indictment of our coaches ability to determine who are the best players. Too much emphasis is placed on off field items and then practice performance versus talent, potential and ability.

Gilbert is our best defensive end, play him Green is a joke and the fans know it. Jimmy Gaines was and is a 2 start Randy Shannon reach bench him. AJ Highsmith a nice loyal kid but a terrible player.

Gilbert left wisky because he wasn't going to get playing time. not sure how "good" he actually is at THIS stage of his college career.

Next you'll tell us that Renfrow could have been an ALL American if he started every game.
 
Gilbert looks like he's playing on crutches. When he ran that td back chickello almost ran him over and had to slow down.

But for real, there should have been some sort of test before people were allowed to register on this site. $10 a month to weed out posts like this would be a BARGAIN.

Am starting to think this would be a good idea. Im willing to pay money to not have my brain hurt from some of the mind numbing idiocy around here lately.

LOL!!! Green has been the most productive DE on the team all year, but he sucks and a player who didn't even think he would ever play again due to injury should be playing every down. I love our experts.

I am impressed that people here can pcik out who is playing badly and who is not on our defense. I usually watch the ball during a game, and well, there never seeems to be any Canes in that area.

Correct me if Im wrong but isn't David Gilbert the only All-League D lineman on our roster???
