KJ and this kid - but not an unproven QB alone.
Dang it. Was hoping he’d hold off until Ward's decision. Really really hope Mario/Staff don’t ***** this up. Year 3 too important for the program
kj jefferson, the UCF qb?

Here’s the problem: the QBs that would have been sure fire starter at Miami were few and all are gone. Unless someone else jump in the portal Mario and his bag men will be forced to settle with a non-perfect solution.Anybody supporting a move to bring in Nelson as the primary QB to start this year is not thinking logically.
It has already been mentioned here on CIS that the boosters are throwing $ at this QB situation because they know we have to be good this year and you can't count on an incoming QB with minimal starting experience to do that. It was mentioned that they are sick of losing and know they have to win due to having a better choice of conferences to join if/when they exit the ACC.
Perhaps you should let it play out and see what happens. Nobody knows if Nelson would even be as good as what we got on the roster already. Lincoln Riley letting him go that easy does smell funny to me.Here’s the problem: the QBs that would have been sure fire starter at Miami were few and all are gone. It is what it is.
1 year under Riley is better than 10 years under Mario.Getting him would be like keeping rashada from last year
We would be expecting rashada to start this year
I think a year under Riley is better than a year under Mario
Sign this kid and then focus on stacking the rest of the roster
If the coaches are not tampering for someone right now they are not serious.Perhaps you should let it play out and see what happens. Nobody knows if Nelson would even be as good as what we got on the roster already. Lincoln Riley letting him go that easy does smell funny to me.
Miami Flo was talking about a QB hitting the portal. Perhaps our coaches are backchanneling.
Also, if a QB can unlock from the primary receiver then he may already be better than what we had.
Jacurri ain’t better than anybody. I keep hearing he is an explosive runner. That’s complete bull****.False. Jacurri is better.
Either a troll or a 12 yr old.Emory or jacurri has game experience and they both throw dimes
At this point we are looking for the best arm talent & professional attitude we can. The likelihood of Nelson playing 3 years is extremely small. It's most likely a 2 year gig and bounce to the NFL or jump to a playoff team for a guy like Nelson. Arm talent is a YES. I know nothing about the professionalism. Here’s the problem: the QBs that would have been sure fire starter at Miami were few and all are gone. And we have some real quarterback whisperers on our staff, so their opinion is gold.I've heard it first hand that Malachi doesn't have what's needed to come in and lock up the QB room.
…and which one of those esteemed contributors is going to tell Mario to stay out of the offense? Because that’s a bigger problem than the lack of QB.Anybody supporting a move to bring in Nelson as the primary QB to start this year is not thinking logically.

Can you confirm @DMoney @Cribby
In fairness, he enrolled 17 days before their spring game. I wouldn't base anything off that performance.Nelson was supposedly awful in the spring game and not in a nervous freshmen kind of way. His mechanics were dreadful and arm strength was lacking. It’s no surprise USC didn’t put up a fight for him. He would be a long term project here. If he is our starter next year we are screwed.
