Georgia's mediocrity is so predictable

as we said when sony committed. they are so predictable mediocre. every year preseason top 10 and nc contender then have 2-4 losses guaranteed

Get out of here....that was two Top 10 teams playing. If Clemson lost you would of said #goacc, if Georgia lost you would of said they suck.

At the end of the day, that was a great game and I hope our guys were watching.

Gurley would run, walk and fly all over our defense.
 
I have similar thoughts on USCe. It all falls back to SEC bias and preseason rankings. Alabama is the only one who deserves to be seen as elite in that conference imo

Stop it! How do you include Miami in this? Can people stop assuming last year's defense to be this year's defense. If we're going to do that, why even watch the games? The 2013 defense is not the 2012 defense.

i root for acc teams because the better they do, the more respect our wins get.

I slightly agree. I believe once they get to mid-season form, they'll be deserving of their ranking. Almost every team in this country should incredible rust, for haven't played a game in 9 months or more.

That's why I give our offense and defense the benefit of the doubt. Elite players like Duke Johnson, Todd Gurley, Sammy Watkins and Marquise Lee, are always ready to go and don't need much warming up. Everybody else needs at least a game or two to rock and roll.

Miami has a date w Clemson in Charlotte. Keep your little soft shouldered ***** *** comments to yourself till then. We'll show you how MIAMI handles mops up the spill that was too much for Georgia, apparently.

THey are going to start 0 -2 and I think the lose 4 games.

Exactly. They lost a ton, and not merely starters but playmaking NFL caliber guys. High draft picks. Same with LSU. When I started looking at the draft preview books early last spring it was stunning that Georgia and LSU guys occupied so many spots among the top ranked defenders. Not 3 or 4 players apiece, more like 7 or 8. Consequently it's comparatively a down year defensively in the SEC, at least among those two programs and early in the year. The commentators tonight said that LSU would likely improve steadily as the year goes on, given the talent of the young defenders. It may not apply as quickly to Georgia.

Georgia really blew a big chance last year, stalling on that final drive against Alabama. It was right there to be stolen. Murray decided to return but the roster specifics work against him, along with the early schedule.

Florida lost many defenders also but the dropoff doesn't figure to be as dramatic as Georgia or LSU.

BTW, great credit to Alabama, LSU and Georgia for the aggressive scheduling on opening weekend. Those programs have taken many early season risks of late, mixed with the home softies. Florida is playing us but everybody realizes they'd prefer to be elsewhere...hosting nothing but cupcakes.
