Is Belen a good barometer of competition?

His specific matchups that led to those highlights are just really poor barometers. Belen football works as a unit. Personally, I would have gone to jail during this game. This guy was clearly picking on guys. I appreciate that on some levels. But, if he tried to crush me and lay on top of me 15 yards downfield, I would have thought to stick a sharpened pencil in his neck.

"Come block me. Cool. Dig the crown of your helmet into my chin. Cool. No, sir. Have no idea how he got a #2 pencil in his jugular. Looks bad."

Then that begs the question ... what has this kid done against other schools?

I saw him against Columbus last year in the playoffs and he didn't do much.. Made a couple Big hits on special teams

I don't think he can do that against D1 competition....no way. He was certainely picking on some smaller kids at times. He was also going both ways, and played probably 90+ snaps....and that video was 7-8 plays? So take it in context.
