Win and coaches are hero's, lose and they're zero's.
Sports, particularly college football, is a zero sum game. That is how EVERYONE (from the AD down to the trainers) involved in the game is ultimately measured -- by wins and losses.
What's interesting is that in college football the coaches probably have more of a say than in most sports due to recruiting. Every year they have a chance to handpick 25 new faces to their team; whereas in pro sports that is usually left up to the GM or a player personnel type. And even then, much of it is dictated by your draft order and also who the team ahead of you selects.
That being said, I see a noticeable difference in how our WRs are performing. You rarely see a missed or poor route, and for the most part they are attacking the ball once it's in the air. In fact, other the occasional dropped ball, most of our issues in the passing game can be attributed to Morris' inaccurate throws.
