George "Debo" Williams

I keep hearing about questionable character, my God that's the attitude we have been missing on this team. This team badly needs some kids that are on the edge, and I believe Coach Golden can handle these types of kids!

I have no problem taking kids with a few off field issues , but, if his issues are to the point that Ole Miss wont touch him, then maybe hes not for the U. Those dudes will take anybody.

Not only can he, he has to. Show me a perennial power that does not recruit kids from tough backgrounds with some character issues. For chr*st's sake, it's football. We need more badasses with hate and attitude. If we didn't recruit those types, then guys like Jerome Brown (posthumously) and Ray Lewis would be thanking Bobby Bowden for giving them a chance during their HOF induction speeches.

I just don't think he has the talent to take the risk on. If we're talking Coley, then yes, but lets not act like every school is after this kid

Can't really say those things when Miami hasn't taken risks on ANYONE recently...

Miami was built on taking the risky kids and them making good. Some fell by the wayside in the process, but risky South Florida youths making good staying in South Florida is what made Miami...well...Miami, and not Stanford.

Kevin Grooms had major issues and we took him. Of course, he didnt qualify and chose to take the easy route to Marshall, but, we did sign him
