I’m sure there’s ways to get in deep there, but it’s one of those things that if you don’t go looking for it, you’ll be fine. I will say, it was probably the safest city I’ve ever been in…walked across the city at night in the witching hours plenty of times without issue.

I would’ve been fascinated by the whole thing. Went to istanbul once solo but Beirut would’ve been my first choice, at least when I was younger.

I totally get it about pizza. But at the same time, having the Hawaiian pizza, it’s like doing something really naughty with your girl - you know it’s borderline deviant, which makes it that much better.

Ive seen that at some good Italian restaurants as well. Prosciutto and fried egg on a brunch pizza. Havent tried it yet but it looks good
