We'd take Barnes but he never committed to them, and I highly doubt he will at this point given his other options.

I'm not saying their verbal list is all trash, I like some of the kids like Gammage, Wilson and Russell, even Bethel who Ariz said we just turned down and only a few hours he verballed to the Gators. These guys would have made any of our classes over the past decade, and we had hard offers for Bethel and Russell (who was committed to us for a while) back in the summer. But compared to the commits we have and are targeting, they'd be plan B/C kids at this point.

He decommitted shortly after McElwain got fired. I just looked and it looks like he went back and committed.

If we beat ND and win out to reach the ACCG and win We probably can cherry pick a few names.. I still think we have 6 more slots now that pick got dropped.

I think you're right. I recall him decommitting and then deleting it off Twitter. Something strange like that happened because some of them were celebrating it saying they hope Jalynn Williams is next but Gammage is still on their 247 commit list.

So this is hilarious. A poster on gaybait started a thread saying he lives in South Florida and wants to come gameday. He's asking what sign should he make and most of the responses are of course attacking us.

How fu*king sad that. I hope my Cane brethren bring the pain with the signs this week

Let me get this straight.

All of the Power 5 conferences are "weaker", except for the SEC and Big 10.

Meanwhile, the Big 10 just had its two highest ranked teams go down in upsets, while its one remaining shot for the Final Four is excoriated for playing a terrible schedule.

Oh, I get it, that means the SEC is the only good conference. Riiight.

The fact that we can watch Randy Shannon have to get in front of the media after every game the rest of the season is so much more than I could've ever hoped for from this season.

Some interesting comments on CJ Henderson about 5:00 mins in on this video too. Sounds an awful lot like the story of him at the UA Game practices this past year had some truth to it.
