I don’t think Lagway is bad but their offense is still doo doo. They were up 6-0 at halftime and 19-0 halfway through the fourth. Their last two touchdowns were a botched quarterback draw where Lagway fumbled and their running back picked it up and ran 25 yards for a touchdown and a garbage time score when the benches were empty. Essentially their first team offense scored 19 points against a Tulane team that turned the ball over 5 times. They better pitch a lot of shutouts next year if they plan on winning games. They’re not going to average more than 25-26 points per game against FBS teams.

DJ played like Feleipe Franks yesterday and the play calling/pace is still atrocious. We will be overrated going into next year if we don’t hire an OC cause we ALL know UF will be a preseason top 10 team

Lagway has another a year or so really he at his potential. Yes , Billy needs to hire a oc not sure why he want give it up

The offense is still what it was with Mertz. DJ’s arm adds an explosive element but his penchant for picks balances it back out. So while they may have a few more explosives, throwing multiple interceptions against a good team will really hurt the overall product.

Speaking objectively, not as a Gator hater, the offensive system sucks. It’s still a ball control system that needs a dominant running game and does little to showcase a dynamic quarterback. Which is nothing new for Billy who is no stranger to making dynamic players look average.

He wants to be the smartest in the room in that regards. Not sure what staff moves will be next but I heard, well I didn’t hear but saw on 247, people saying their may be staff changes.

Also with getting an OC, he’d have to do what Mario did and not only get an OC, but get outta his way too
