I actually think it'd be wise for them to just accept next year as a big L and then cut their ties. If you fire Billy and hire a new coach this close to ESD, you lose most of your class and then saddle the new coach with the brutal schedule, which then leads to fans turning on that new coach right away. Let Billy take next year's whoopin' and then bring in a new guy.

But yeah, they're in a no-win situation right now because this class will continue to fall apart seeing all these transfers, especially ETN. Lagway can't be happy losing ETN and Pearsall before he even arrives.

yeah he probably still his job due to lagway but that's silly because most high profile qbs end up transferring anyways
