Let’s cut the crap here. Oregon may be a what too 10-15 job right now? Moving to the BIG. Strong recruiting pipeline. Why would Lanning leave for UF with OU and UT joining the SEC? The only reason Mario even entertained us, let alone came here is because he’s an alum. UF is in a worse spot than we were three seasons ago. These fools need to seriously calibrate their thinking, which I know is nearly impossible.

Yup. I know that’s what they’re thinking: “dUhhhhh… Cristobal left Oregon for scUM so Lanning to the Gators is a no-brainer…”

Mario’s an alumni and local and came back home. By the way, do you all recall when we were looking at coaches and they were too? Some of them wanted Mario for the recruiting and a chunk of them laughed at us having a chance at him leaving Oregon to take our job while thinking he’d take their job if offered. Same ole gator.

I love that he is yelling about who did this. Miami is the only abnormal name on there that should give them pause. Fsu is the state legislature and the rest is the conference. But this is what conference schedules will look like post realignment. Do people think these media companies are cutting those checks for Indiana northwestern or vandy Missouri?

For whatever reason, the lizards seem to always win a game or two you’re sure they should lose. It’s not that they SHOULD win more than 3 games this year, but I have no doubt they’ll manage more somehow. Some of these other a-hole sec teams will **** the bed against them. It’s a shame.

Which is just weird. I assume kids talk and everybody will know that’s the situation, at which point there’s no point. You’re momentum doesn’t fool any recruits because they know how you got it.

Florida is doing things differently than FSU. Their proposal to kids are different than most schools. They are trying to think outside the box to build a class with what is happening. It won’t work short term (perhaps with a few kids) and it **** sure won’t work long term.

FSU is on some stupid **** here but most CIS “pay him more” crowd would love their strategy.

On top of that, if they fire their third consecutive head coach in year three, why would any great candidate really entertain that kind of pressure cooker?
 
With every bad loss and every coaching change, they fall further and further into the abyss. We’ve seen this all play out with our own program and it’s great seeing it happen to the gator. They even have their own version of “bring back Butch Davis”.
