Looks like James Robinson is actually out indefinitely with a heart-related issue...

He's "out"? Isn't he still on suspension?

I don't think so he wasn't there long enough to hop on the fraud train. I believe he was only getting a one game for the marijuana charge.

I just assumed pot would get you more than one game, but then again gaytors.

Really shouldnt even get one. Its pot, if you tell me that my son is away playing college football and the worse thing he does is sit in his dorm and smokes I will be perfectly fine with that over driving drunk, raping or any other dumb **** he could do at school

They cut off his weed and his heart could not take it. Don't these guys take physicals before hand? This is very strange in my view, and this is damage control and cover-up for something else.

Could have been an irregular heartbeat or what we call arrhythmia...wouldn't necessarily be picked up on a physical unless the player was symptomatic at time of exam.

He boosted their recruiting rank one place ahead of us. I think Mac would sign him again.

That said, that stuff runs in my family. I don't wish that on any young people.

This thread came along at exactly the right time, sht's going downhill so fast it's getting hard to believe. On top of recruiting and offensive woes, Toofs is sounding more like al golden every minute. Throwing kids under the bus is just wrong. How about being a man and admitting that you don't know squat about running an offense? Seriously you can't be this bad, not fire your OC and think that you know what you're doing. Turns out that poor results actually mean you suck.

But hey, what do I know? Keep on keepin on, I'll just sit back and enjoy.

Jeez, how do you remember stuff like that?

Oh that's right, they keep going on and on about it. In truth, it won't matter to them the kid isn't playing as long as they get to keep that ranking.

It would be ironic if he was prescribed medical marijuana for his "heart related issues"

Possibly that attitude has something to do with Meyer's success. Guys like McToofs blame the players, guys like Meyer figure out how to win with the players they have not wait for the one's they wish they had.

I may not like Urban Myth, but he plays the hand he's dealt.

Massive turnover, for any reason other than a guy is not fit to play I-AA, does a lot of damage to the roster. I know lots of tufff guys on this board like to act as if all non-starters who transfer are "no big loss", but we've got to play through with the rosters we have.

Well one positive of them canceling their game is that they probably will struggle to reach 7 wins now. Whereas we will probably still win 10. Should make for some tasty tears.

They are having a year very similar to our '14 year. I definitely see a 6-7 or 6-6 season for them....
