Tears Gator Tears

People on here over state Stanford. It’s an elite school but you still have to be dedicated to take advantage of it. The networking for football players isn’t as friendly and automatic as people make it out to be. If it was, then the school would be cleaning in recruiting all the time. Reality is that top kids like this have football as priority #1. Also, 8-4 isn’t a terrible school with a very wealthy alumni base that love their football players.

How would Stanford clean up in recruiting when a majority of recruits don't qualify academically?

If this kid is academically eligible for Stanford I don't feel him being undedicated to education is an issue.

8-4 is fine. But it provides no benefit long term over Stanford IMO. The odds of him even making a career out of the NFL are very slim. That degree was a guarantee. A great TE for Stanford or A&M is getting the same NFL due diligence.

This is why I always was quick to call for a Hc head. Everyone said wins and they come bs that’s a lie (those people can finally stfu) It takes one full cycle to know if u have a HC willing to do anything for elite talent. We were always (well not me) lied to that we brought in great classes or we won the off season (which was a lie as well we were **** in the OS)

Evals/identify/close

U do those things regardless u will win big
Exactly. It's not rocket science fam. This **** has never been about winning. It's about evaluation and closing on NFL talent. When we lost to Middle Tennessee State, I was done. I didn't watch the game because I thought for sure we had the game.

I get home, and look at the score on my phone, and said dam, most of these cats are going to the portal. Miami didn't even get the best players from South Florida this year, and still got a Top 5 class. Only 7 of the 25 recruits are from South Florida. When you have recruited like we have, and add the top end South Florida talent, we fuccin.

I just looked it up and I was in the wrong. I thought that Stanford had slightly higher requirements for student attending but it appears they have much higher standards for student athlete. I was wrong here.
