One of the first signs when it comes to a lack of intelligence is not being able to see any view point but their own. Mario got his first at FIU, a school that was the worst in the nation and had just made the move to DIV 1. He went 27-47. If you want to hold that against him, fine but at least acknowledge the context.

Also got them their first winning seasons and bowl appearances

And make sure to add what he did at Oregon as well because it matters. They are just picking and choosing what they want.

Agreed. It’s hard for fans to be objective. We had that issue with Al Golden. We convinced ourselves that because he had a couple of players drafted that he was this savant. We ignored the fact that he never won his conference and looked for every excuse to justify it. But when you looked at it objectively, there was nothing to suggest that Al Golden was an exceptional coach.

gator fans are so worried about what mario's HC record was at FIU (before working at bama and learning from saban and before doing extremely well at Oregon)

wonder what his p5 record is against napier's
Well he has only one year as a P5 coach. His record at UL was impressive though. He has about the same record as Mario if you take away FIU for Mario. I think Napier is a good coach.

We had a JuCO transfer come in and instantly become our number one receiver. That says it all right there. I like the two speedsters we have are bringing in, but we are going to have to bring in talent at WR via portal.

Correct. And those two speedsters are quick and fast, but neither has elite speed. I really wish we would make a pitch to Pleasant out in CA and try him at WR. Worst case, you put him back at corner. But I watched that kid with my own two eyes **** around and just run by some of the fastest kids in California during the summer.

Ray Ray has elite speed.
