How in the **** does a guy named Bob know Miami's NIL situation? And why does everyone think it's only Ruiz? Probably cuz he's so vocal on social media, but he's far from the only NIL opportunity in Miami. The school's located in a major city with an international population. The bigger NIL opportunities far outnumber those available in places like Gainesville and Tallahassee. If anything, I would think NIL is sustainable for those lucky institutions located in large cities like USC (I have no idea what their NIL situation is like), moreso than a place like Gainesville, where they have to scramble to put together a collective because the business opportunities just aren't there.

Yeahhhh...."Portal"....how did that work out with Darrell Jackson? Huge position of need for Florida, and they were quibbling over whether the kid was "worth it" or "overpriced", and (by Gaytor claims) the amount of $$$ difference was only 100K to 150K.

"Portal" is not walking through that door to save the Gaytors...

Right? Portal kids have a resume in college. Nil is going to be a bigger deal for them than for high school kids

Man, I love the idea that one lockdown corner is the difference between their class being acceptable or not. Reminds me of our pursuit of jeudy, or surtain. As if us landing them would’ve changed our fortunes at all

He’s an old dude who wrote for the 247 gator board and he’s been around a long time. His writing - like coherency of thoughts - is horrific. Like I can’t even read it, it’s 3rd grade level. They put him out to pasture there as a writer recently. I think he’s writing for a local magazine up there now as a poster on 247 owns it. He’s not a bad person from what i can tell but he’s an awful writer… and a gator.

I think since I’ve talked some **** to @flagator86 on this topic today, I should put my money where my mouth is. I’m in on this gentlemen’s bet. I’ve never had an avi so this would be particularly humiliating if my 1st is Gator related.
