There isn’t any mole, it’s just finance 101. Time value of money, money up front is worth more than money down the road. You can actually come in with less in total money but the overall real money would be higher.

There is another finance principle of risk premium. Based on what our insiders are saying, the gaytes haven't always been reliable in payments. That alone would cause recruits with good representation to back off.
