There are nuances in its explanation/definition, I see flop sweat as something that happens when you speak in front of a big group and you’re totally unprepared - you can just see the buckets of sweat pouring from somebody’s forehead when that happens.

Sling Blade Billy is in way over his head. Just a few months into the job, and he’s drenched in flop sweat, he knows he can’t cut it. He simply is not P5 ready, and he knows it.

I think there is a difference between "patience on the wins", as it might take a bit of time to get your preferred personnel in place, and "patience on the process of recruiting", for which Gaytor fans have never exhibited any chill.

The Gaytors fans have traditionally been obsessed with "bump class", and now that the "bump class" comes two months earlier than it ever did, none of the Gaytors seem to factor in the enormous pressure for a new coach to hit some mythical target about 12 months after being hired. PARTICULARLY for a G5-to-P5 corch.
