So who are the "overrated" players that Mario took, but that Gaypier "didn't want"?

Wesley Bissainthe?
Jaden Harris - "only" a 3-star, not sure if that makes him "overrated"
Nyjalik Kelly?
Jaleel Skinner?
Cyrus Moss?
Ahmad Moten?
Anez Cooper - also "only" a 3-star
Matthew McCoy - another "only" a 3-star
TreVonte Citizen?

So I guess maybe I don't understand this genius Gaytor argument...

Miami's recruiting class was higher-rated than Florida's, but really Florida's class was better than Miami's...WHY AGAIN?

I just listed the guys that Mario took. The rest of our class committed to Manny, but those players were also not "available" for Gaypier to "want" or "not want".

Miami's class is better because we took a couple of 3-stars? Yet that kind of "argument" wouldn't fit the "overrated" players that Mario took that Gaypier "didn't want".

So which of Mario's blue-chippers did Gaypier "not want"? Again with the "recruit who vomited on his Gaytor visit" nonsense? And even if all of that was true, that was the reason for rejecting a more talented player and taking a less talented player, because he overimbibed on a campus visit supervised by adults and other more-senior players?

I'll tell you this. Alabama coaches and Alabama fans don't waste their time trying to explain why they missed on certain blue-chippers, and then making implications that the guys they didn't sign are "overrated". Nope, Alabama goes out and signs OTHER blue-chippers while moving on in life.

Senior Keon Zipperer is the presumed starter after appearing in all 13 of Florida’s games last season, but he only brought in 11 passes on the year. Zipperer is healthy and currently the only scholarship tight end at practices. Redshirt freshman Gage Wilcox was missing from practices last week, which means the next man up is senior Dante Zanders who recently switched back to tight end from defensive end.

Zanders actually was recruited as a three-star tight end out of high school, so the position isn’t foreign to him by any means. Walk-on junior linebacker Noah Keeter has also worked with the group in recent weeks.

Could you imagine what CIS would be like if we had that TE situation? Zipperer with 11 catches all last season, a freshman who’s MIA and a JAG. Yeah they’re going to run the field in the SEC this season.

Gaytors have been conditioned to believe they are better, no make that Superior. Add to that the success at the top of their conference adds to their delusional reasoning. Their conference record against other conferences doesn't matter, their record doesn't matter nor does recruiting ranking when they aren't ranked high or higher than Miami or FSU. You just have to beat them. I'm hoping we can get at them but that'll mean "our" season didn't go well.

To piggyback, the dude says the players we got were overrated but at the same he wanted Gapier to recruit them…

So you wanted him to recruit overrated players? Or they just wouldn’t be overrated if they were in your class?

Dont even waste your time here, you are dealing with homeboard homerism here, the worst kind. A homeboarder regardless of team affiliation always spins. Its kinda like us trying to convince ourselves we got a steal and the best DT in GA the year we signed Holley, btw Holy SH*T was the 19 class a dumpster fire. Wes, Skinner, Kelly, Moss and Citizen are certified blue chippers. Its all sour grapes, they get any of those guys and they are touted as great.
