I’m def not the one to ask. All I know on Perkins is what I read here but to hear that they sound confident is no surprise, they think they are invincible now for some reason lol.

imo his words about UF is valid and I feel the interest in UF is real. I still think A&M holds on to him in the end but this def isn’t a troll job like year’s past when Goof when our HC. It feels good to be taking these baby steps as far as getting in good with recruits and not just being free meals and a free visit

It’s why the league is so too heavy. Nobody would deny the top two or three programs are at the top of college football but there’s a steep drop-off after that and the rest of the league is just riding their coattails.

OK, so here's the honest question. The kid is committed to aTm, and they are widely reputed to be dropping serious bags. In spite of the fact that many of the Gaytor fans on that thread seem to favor trying to match the aTm money (while simultaneously vilifying UM for possibly doing the same thing), I have not seen any indication that the Gaytors are either legally or illegally managing to pay as much money as others do. ****, you even see Gaytor fans mocking the aTm colors and "cult" like atmosphere. So what, in particular, do these dopey fans think will be the factor or factors which COULD POSSIBLY flipz this kid to the Gaytorz? Is it Gaypier's magnetic personality? All the position coaches that he WANTS to hire, but probably won't? SEC-SEC-SEC? The fact that Gaypier "really cares" and Mario doesn't?
I'm sorry, but that thread was just a treasure trove of Gaytor desperation and insecurity, particularly when anyone tries to criticize Miami. At least we are realistic about our coaches (certain Gaytor fans keep insisting that we acted as if we hired Schumann, which we never did) and recruits (we know **** well that we are lucky to even be in the conversation with most of our remaining targets, and that is solely due to Mario).
I'd just like to understand how certain Gaytor fans have confidence that this kid wants to flipz from one of the greatest college recruiting classes of all time, to whatever it is that the Gaytors seem to be offering. ****, at least Miami can sell "quality over quantity" in the 2022 class, but the Gaytors have loaded up on 3 stars and Louisiana transfers.

Gators hired a G5 head coach as their HC we are trying to hire G5 head coache as our OC. If I remember correctly some of their fans even had cristobal on their short list of coaches they wanted to hire.
I think the funniest post was trying to compare us getting Perkins to the couple of top recruits going to Jackson State. It’s sad some of their fans are this delusional when Miami has a better coaching staff, more money, better university, could go on and on. It would be like me trying to say the sky is green and grass is blue and truly believing it.

Cristobal was a top-shelf HC right up until he picked Miami, now he's al golden. Our campus sucks because it's in Coral Gables not Miami. They drop bags, but we need to be investigated for dropping the wrong kind of bags. They're proud about lying to recruits, but we're the bad guys.

Aint gone hold you but some Miami fans had Napier on their short list too, on this board too. But ill be THEE FIRST to say last year in January of 2021 I was asked on Swamp Gas who i’d replace Mullen with and I actually named Cristobal and Napier. I even said Cristobal would be a boom or bust hire Lemme show my receipts so you know im not lying lol
