Boys will spin anything

When Gaytors lose Chris Steele and Issiah Walker a couple of months after Signing Day - "no, the recruiting class rankings stay the same, you can't change it, it's official".

When Gaytors get a kid to reclassify and enroll 7 months after Signing Day - "hey, re-rank our signing class, we have another 4-star to factor in".

Where's the big boy move?

Gotta love those delusional Gaytor fans. They think Wilcoxson enrolling early "opens up another slot for 2021".

Nope.

Only way they were getting more than 25 ICs in 2021 is with a countback to 2020. And if Wilcoxson moves to 2020, that takes away one of their countbaks.

Good for the Gaytors, Wilcoxson's recruiting ranking can replace Issiah Walker for 2020. But it also takes away a 4-star recruit and an IC slot from 2021.

Win-win.

Wait so would he classify for 2020 and be counted in those recruiting rankings?

You just KNOW those motherfvckers want to re-rank 2020. Go check the Wilcoxson thread on the Gaytor site. Someone brings up how this should cause the class ranking to increase. Later, someone points out the loss of Walker. Crickets.

They want to keep a kid who left 2 months after Signing Day, but then they want to add a kid who will enroll 7 months after Signing Day.

This is better for us and bad for the Gators perception-wise. No one really looks back at old rankings. That PR cycle has spun.

Their current 2021 class, which is in peril, is going to drop, and will have one less kid in it on LOI day. So the perception will be that UF is trending down on the trail.

So in summary...

They ain't ******

With that loss in this year’s class and if Sapp bails - they won’t want to “watch the finish”.
