Actually that is as accurate as it gets. I don't know for sure about the "stacked eur-where" comments, but the fact he thinks they're going 14-1 and winning a natty leads me to believe without reading the massive amount of garbage written in the post on that subject.
The record, winning the natty, and the recruiting predictions are very much accurate tho hahaha. it was a great post as evidence of the gheytor logikz:
1. The Roster
Assumptions: For the purpose of this, I will assume no current roster players starts the season injured or suspended. (unlikely). I will also assume that Linguard gets a waiver for Shorter and Pouncey do not. I can't remember if it was ever cleared up about pouncey having his degree. I will assume he doesn't and does not get a waiver. And for assumption purposes, we don't add anymore players this offseason.
QB- This spot is pretty easy to peg down. Trask is the starter. He did well last year. He is grinding this offseason. I am curious how much Emory mixes in. I want to see emory throw the ball more. Should be a really great year at QB for us.
RB- I think Pierce gets the start. I think Linguard mixes in fairly early to provide a little more exposiveness. Malik Davis should mix in as a 3rd option as well. No faith that Wright or Clement are going to provide anything substantial this year.
WR- The three starters should be Grimes, Copeland, and Toney. I think Toney will still be more of a utility player. Because of that, and our heavy rotation at this spot, we see a lot of Whittmore, Wells, Weston, and Henderson as well. REally look for Grimes and Copeland to have great years. They will have several 1 on 1 opportunites with defenses attempting to double Pitts.
TE- This is easy one as well. Pitts will get the start. Zip is the back up. I don't see much from the other guys honestly. They may get snaps, but no real production. Pitts has a first rounder type season and Zip has a sneaky good year as well both catching and BLOCKING. good room here.
LT- This is Gouraige. He played well at guard, but really handled Tackle well when we put that on him. I think he is more agile than Stone, and as such should mount the blindside.
LG- Brett Heggie starts here because of what happens at C. I think Heggie may play center if it doesn't get taken care of though. Braun is going to get Reps at one of the guard spots
C- Eguakun takes over here and makes the line a lot more solid across the board by allowing Heggie and White to man the guard spots.
RG- Ethan White. easy here. Kid had a great year last year for his first year. Should only get better.
RT- Stone Forsythe. he isn't terrible. He will be better on the right side. Tarquin is going to get reps here as well.
DE- Zac Carter starts and could also play DT. The backups at this spot and Buck are going to move around quite a bit depending on down and distance and scheme fit.
DT- Campbell starts. He is in for a sneaky good year as well. He did really well last year and i think he takes another step forward. Backup could be Dexter or Humphries, or other freshman
N- Slaton is on a prove-it type year. IF he does what he is capable of doing, he is going to have a great year. Concliffe or dunlap or freshman behind him.
Buck- Cox starts and plays here and DE. Bogle gets a lot of reps as well. Dibete plays here some as well.
Mike- Ventrell Miller gets the nod over houston as the thumper in the middle. He will have a slightly short leash though.
Money- Burney is going to play here and nickel depending on scheme fit. I also think Diabete gets a look here and Hooper has a possibility of sliding in as well. Wingo gets a lot ST times and possibily sees the field at LB this year too.
Nickel- Burney or Kimbrough depending on scheme. I think Trevez Johnson gets a look here too. Kimbrough can play outside as well.
CB- Elam backed up by Hill
CB- Marco backed up by Dean (emergencies only)
S- Davis (prove it year) Tevez could slide in and back up here.
S- Stewart (prove it year) Stiner gets a lot of PT.
Overall, the offense should be a little better at running the ball and about the same at throwing. We lost a lot of WR talent, but Trask takes a step forward and we have enough talent in the room to get separation and added chemistry.
The defense should be good. DL isn't as deep but may be more talented. LB and S are a worry, but there is talented options there.
Should be a competitive roster that can compete with any team on our schedule.
2. The Season Outlook
Assumptions: the big assumption here is that we have a season and can play the whole season.
Schedule
Eastern Washington at Home W should be an easy W at home to kick off the year. get some chemistry built and some momentum going. get the young guys some PT, as they can have 4 games and still redshirt.
Kentucky at Home W Kentucky will be a harder game than it should be cuz stoops is a heck of a coach but they cannot hang with us at home this year.
South Alabama at Home W another momentum game and young player PT game. get some experience in them so they can step up if someone gets hurt.
At Tennessee W harder game than it should be. I don't think UT is back by any means and they still have a massive issue at QB...but they will be a tough team that will play til the final whistle this year. they will prolly have a loss to Oklahoma already and this will be a "save the season" type game for them.
South Carolina at Home W South Carolina is going to be pretty bad again. I hope we don't get trapped here.
LSU at Home W little revenge game. More than likely the biggest recruiting weekend. should either be 2:30 or at night. Good chance they are undefeated coming in. they will be relativity untested too. Hardest game on their schedule before us is texas at home....so Brannan will have not faced anything like the gator defense in the swamp. We win this game.
At Ole Miss W little trap game between our two biggest opponents here. Better be careful containing that QB who can run all over the field.
Georgia in Jacksonville W UGA has a really good defense. I think they lost way too much on offense and they didn't have a regular spring or offseason to install and create chemistry with their new QB, OL and weapons. 4 OL are gone. all the weapons but Pickens from last year is gone. QB is gone. Their defense keeps them in for most of the game but we pull away late because we control TOP and their offense doesn't get a lot going. 24-14 type game.
At Vandy W Should be a W if we don't come in too ****y.
Mizzou at home W should be a W if we don't come in too ****y.
AT Florida State W Should be a W if we don't come in too ****y. They will be better than last year, but they still aren't very good and we are one of two actual teams on their schedule.
SEC championship Vs. Bama L I wish i could pick us to win here...and it is possible. but Bama's defense and weapons prove to be too much and they beat us on talent when we don't have an extended scheme time.
playoffs round one vs. ohio state W We get into the playoffs at the 4th seed though because oklahama and the entire pac 12 will choke again...its a thing that happens. We squeak out a win vs. ohio state.
playoffs round two vs. bama rematch W Bama beats clemson and heads for a rematch and mullen and company have a longer prepare time and we win. 31-21
NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.
3. the newest mock class
Assumptions: we follow the trend from last year: terrible May, terrible June, better July (as things open up), and ramp up as we do better on the field, and we have a good December, January, and February...but WE CLOSE A LITTLE BETTER because of playoff birth and Brewster in kids ears when they are on campus.

LB
https://247sports.com/player/xavian-sorey-46076868 We get a break when UGA gets Mouden next month. Alabama is gonna be a tough fight here...so let's see if CROB can do this.
LB

CB
https://247sports.com/player/jason-marshall-46051367 Huge signing day pull number two. We will miss on Collins, Smith, and Collier though.
CB
https://247sports.com/player/clinton-burton-jr-46051462 already committed.
S
https://247sports.com/player/donovan-mcmillon-46097647 seems most likely of the current S situation.
S
https://247sports.com/player/diwun-black-46038752 He signs as a S instead of LB...and English considers himself a success somehow.
24 total. 10 on the line of scrimmage. Semi-realistic. Very nice CB duo, very nice LB duo, very nice DL class, nice WR pull (considering we missed on like 15 of our biggest targets), good qb, good TE group.
Struggle at S, RB, and OL....where we have sucky recruiters as coaches. makes a lot of sense to me.
