For real, as OCCC basically said, does anyone on here speak Mullet?

Ah, yes, the inarticulate Mullet strikes again. Can you imagine UM interviewing this guy once, let alone twice? I have gained a new appreciation for the UM Board of Trustees (not really, I still can't stand them).

In the immortal words of June Cleaver, "I speak jive."

From all indicators, this is what happened. Arjei Henderson got a qualifying test score, and thought he was good to go. But in a review of his transcript, the NCAA must have flagged a HS course, which he is now retaking. However, it will likely require the NCAA to re-evaluate his transcript, and that takes time. This should be evidenced by the very vague information the Gaytors are able to provide about when Henderson can report. Don't rule out the possibility that he does NOT get cleared for Fall enrollment.

This is different from Bubba Bolden's situation, where he is taking a college class, and UCLA is on the quarter system, not the semester system. Arjei Henderson is taking a high school class and has not been cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse for initial eligibility.

Idk about u, but I was expecting someone to ask about flipping Chaney.
Me too but they like Bowman better and somehow, with Chaney being from Miami and likely having shown no interest in the gaytor, and Bowman being from Lakeland, they’ve decided that Bowman is their top target and I presume, likelier flip. I love that they’re all in on flipping Bowman from Clemson as the odds of that are low but if they did it somehow, that’d be an undeniable win for them. I just don’t see it. They’ll settle for less and act like they get the next best option.

This was really a great time of year when McSharky was corching the gaytor. You had recruiting hate and flipz predictions after Friday Night Bites, where the recruits were served PB&J’s & told:

“I can see you in orange and blue... You’re gonna be a gaytor.”

Then you had the jealousy over our event list interchanged with predictions for the season and comments about how much better they are.

It’s still a good time of year. They still do some, if not all, of those things. They consistently provide the entertainment to help get us through the off-season and through lulls during the season.

Whoa whoa so Huggins and Henderson might not make it in either??

That would be a total of 6 guys who didn't end up making it in their class....wow that's an epic failure

I'd upgrade Henderson to doubtful, but Huggins is in. He was there for spring ball, just missing practices due to a family emergency, and it seems like Mullet is confused about when he will return

They're terrified of losing this game on 8/24, knowing that if they do it means they're going at best 9-3 and will give us a leg up in recruiting if we have double-digit wins like we should. It's always a cycle when we play them. First, they believe months out that we won't have a pulse and that they'll blow us out. Second, they start accounting for "raw talent" and how we could put up a fight for the first half and then get blown out. Third, they start publishing posts and articles with garbage data to validate one of their skewed points of view. Fourth, when the game turns out to be competitive they start moving the goalpost.

Finally, when they lose and have a more disappointing season than expected, they say the loss to doesn't matter because "Miami beat one of the worst Florida team's in our history." They said and did the same in 2013, blaming it on "injuries" as well. Despite the fact that they had no major injuries when they played us in week 2. It's predictable with them. I think this game is a tossup, they won't realize it's a tossup until we actually get to gameday.
This is the same fan base that claims they would have beat our 2001 team, you know, the greatest team in college football history, even though we destroyed them the year and the year after. Morons
