Any lets not attempt to change the discourse here, the subject is why did Riley Cooper call a group of people ******s at a Kenny Chesney concert wearing a cutoff shirt and a ponytail. N'er and N'a have different meanings entirely, words are symbolic of some meaning they aren't things in and of themselves. Pull your head out of your ***.

Is it OK to say "F_ck the Gators" if I'm not a Florida fan or would it be too offensive? Should I say "Go Gatas!" instead as to not offend anyone?

People are overly sensitive and too politically correct nowadays. Politically correctness is killing our nation and the media is doing nothing but perpetuating racial differences and hate... George Zimmerman is about as white as Barack Obama is black. We need to start judging people by their actions and not just their skin color or choice of words. People who feel offended by name calling or stereotypes should work to changes these misperceptions through their actions, not by callings others ignorant and criticizing what they perceive. Respect is earned not demanded. Someone who thinks a black person is Nigg”er” will still think they are a Nigg”er” even if they are not allowed to call them that. Political correctness does not change reality or perceptions. People do.

More justification...

Just absolutely mind boggling, but I guess it shouldn't be considering the tweets I'm seeing in reference to Cooper from whites.

lol Zimmerman is mixed but he goes by white b/c his white dad taught him that the other half of his blood is inferior.... in his myspace page all he was doing was degrading hispanic ppl. Obama has never degraded his black side and doesnt classify himself as a white man like Zimmerman... that's the difference. Zimmerman is a bigot just like a lot of the ppl who supported him as soon as they found out the victim was black.

As far as your comment "respect is earned not demanded".... lol i'm sorry but what does that have to do with being called a ****** just b/c you are black??? Nobody is talking about policy or political correctness b/c no matter how many civil rights bills are passed racist are still going to be racist..... and no matter how many black men show that they are educated, "well spoken", law-abiding citizens.... guys like Picksix and jerseycane still will think of them as ******s. I really dont understand the point you are trying to make.

More justification...

jerzeycane everyone knows you are a bigot and everyone can tell you are proud of it.

I'm a bigot?

You serious?

Because I call out the justification that some whites continuously make in relation to the mistreatment and/or double standards they have for the black community?

Who else thinks 90% of the people in the stands in Gainesville on Saturday's are thinking the same thing?

along with every sec school. I am a white guy from fla who lived in alabama. biggest racist I have ever seen.

Criticizing someone for saying **** is being politically correct? LMAO you obviously have no concept of historical context. So the people to whom Cooper was referring need work to change his "stereotypes" so he won't call them ****s anymore? You sound ****ing stupid, I'll tell you what changes reality; action. Letting people know that **** like this will not be tolerated, anyone who views can come to the conclusion that this was done in a hateful manner. He needs to be held accountable in some manner.

Look, I’m not defending Cooper. I know enough about history and was even required to take a mandatory “Black Literature” class my senior year in Illinois. I just don’t like how much the media plays this up to get people to all worked up. I’ve heard much worse racial remarks playing high school sports, and most of it came from the blacks.
Why is hate a crime? Is it a crime for me to hate someone for any reason? No, hate is not a crime; we have a right to hate whatever and whoever we want. What is a crime is if we act upon that hate. People will hate you for any reason, are you going to fight everyone who expresses their hatred towards you? Is he a dumbass for saying what he did, Yes. Is it something that should make the headlines? No.

I hate when people talking about using that word and this word. People are not dumb, u know when a word is meant in a racist way or not. Everybody know black people using the N word are not being racist to each other. Stop getting all technical and shhhh. BTW im black...jamaican and some of the most racist people are black...and proud btw. When you are drunk are agitated....thats truly what u are. Not the PR bull**** to collect corporate checks
