Can't make a ******* team play you if their too scared I'm not worried about it

You actually could if we were a state school. State legislatures have forced schools to play, like Kentucky and Louisville. Actually, I think the Florida Legislature told UF to stop ducking FSU in the 50s.

He wants half the stadium for our home game? He cant be that much of a douche right?

Oh we talking about the gators, thats an oxymoronic question sorry..

Wait... Had to check, nope don't give a ****!
It would make me very happy if Miami really sacked up and didn't bend for uf.

This is absolutely true. UF would not play FSU if they didn't have to. It was much later than the 50's though, FSU was technically an all girls school till '53. Now it's just an all ******* school.

Dont know about you guys, but seats sucked at the gator game in crocville. in fact, they always suck for away games.

In some ways I appreciate that he's there. He defines the Gators perfectly...as strategic slimy wimps, with every decision based on fear, trying to sneak in through the side door.

Previously they had athletic directors like Bill Carr, who admitted in a Sports Illustrated article in 1982 that they were looking to soften their schedule after not winning anything in 50 years. At least he didn't hide the intentions. Then it was difficult to despise Bill Arnsparger, considering everything he contributed to the Dolphins and therefore the Miami area. Arnsparger brought in Spurrier, who I'm convinced would have scheduled the Canes every year if he had full say in the matter. Spurrier didn't try to deflect and massage everything, like a typical pathetic Gator. He emphasized that the Georgia game was anything but a neutral site, considering the proximity to the Florida campus, and that Florida should win the vast majority of those games.

Someone insert Al "just relax, bro" pic here >>>

AP reports Jeremy Foley said the only way Florida and Miami can realistically play agin in the future is at a neutral site.

Great. I'd rather have home and home series with other interesting schools. ND, UCLA, Clemson, Texas, Oklahoma, Stanford, etc. I'm an old UF fan, but trying to maintain a rivalry with UM is outdated.

Clemson is in our conference, and Notre Dame has to play us every so often per the deal they made with the ACC, but your point stands, and I'm just being a ****.

I was posting from a linked thread (someone deleted the post I guess) from the Gator24/7 board. Quote is from Barrister96. I posted it here because if those guys think Foley is avoiding us because he wants to play more national opponents...lulz.

My bad. That's what I get for ready 50% of posts. Not that I'm going to change or anything, but, again, my bad.
