Garrett Kidd receives full Athletic Scholarship

umm ive always liked the kid...Like ive stated befor ehe would start at fiu/fau type of program.

I have no problems with him loggin time with our regular offenses, and this whole year he had more value than Dmauri Jones so id say he earned it.

I havent given up on Jones but Kidd out there playing for a new locker...and dude deserves it....when we start having walkons that can log time im excited with he and Fentress.

I've been to a couple scrimmages in the past couple years. Interestingly, the two kids that stood out to me in both scrimmages were RB Brandon Yosha and WR Garrett Kidd. Maybe they stood out to me in part because they were walk-ons.

no. Santana was a Butch/Pete G special. They beat the system by bringing him in under a "track scholarship." He was not some hustler who walked on out of the blue and earned a full-ride.

He was all over the place on special teams in the Pitt game, and played before D'mauri Jones in the Va Tech game, so I'd say he deserves one.

I'm all for walk-ons that bust their *** & end up earning a scholarship.
