Phil Mafah & he's just a borderline 4-star composite & high 3-star 247sports prospect.

Clemson has an Elite 5-star RB in Will Shipley from NC who's supposed to be the 2nd coming of Christian McCaffrey.

Seems like this was a "legit" move. His mother is in Georgia now, too. It was never about Garcia - seems more like some Georgia HS football coach politics against Propst.... Garcia's dad giving that interview just gave them the opening...

Let’s give Clemson some credit for scouting. I assumed Mafah was a 5 start after watching the game. To read LCE’s comment that he was a borderline 4 start tells me that some coach used his own eyes instead of just reading a recruiting ranking.
Kind of like UM was famed for doing at a point and time, and even recently with Rousseau.

Oh no doubt!! Trust me. The 3 star guys Clemson get have been killer. I spoke on that in another thread. I completely agree w/ u.
